The Klamath River is a regular destination for whitewater adventures but it is much more than a recreational destination. It is a spiritual and cultural center for the many tribes that live along its banks, a dwindling salmon fishery, and an irrigation source for farmers in the area. The Klamath has been called ⤦a degraded system that is uniquely restorable and may soon become the site of one of the largest dam-removal projects in world history. Learn more about this amazing and controversial river as we host speakers and the film Solving the Klamath Crisis.

"Krumping" is a very intensive style of dance that expresses and exaggerates movements of individual emotions. KRUMP KINGS Inc. is a company that is dedicated to educating, supporting and promoting this style of dance positively.
"We realize that, when looking at urban culture, many tend to think about the ruff gangsta’ image, lots of violence, profanity & guns. That is not what the Krump Kings represent. As you will see, violence & profanity do not represent our work. Talent, in its raw state, as is found on the streets everyday, is more entertaining, inspiring and fascinating than the stigmatic violent urban culture that has been portrayed over & over again. There can be struggle & battle without violence, as you will see in the KRUMP world, there can be drama without guns and there can be comedy without putting anyone else down." -KRUMP KINGS Inc.

The Idan Raichel Project

The Idan Raichel Project burst onto the Israeli music scene in 2002, changing the face of Israeli popular music and offering a message of love and tolerance that resonated strongly in a region of the world where the headlines are too often dominated by conflict. With an enchanting blend of Ethiopian and Middle Eastern flavors coupled with sophisticated production techniques and a spectacular live show, the Idan Raichel Project has become one of the most unexpected success stories in Israeli music today. While he regularly fills large concert halls at home, the upcoming international release of his recordings on the Cumbancha record label promises to introduce the work of this inspirational collective to a wide global audience.
The New York Times review:
‘THE IDAN RAICHEL PROJECT’ (Cumbancha)
The Idan Raichel Project was a huge hit in Israel for good reason: it envisions a modern, multicultural nation where voices of young and old, Ethiopian and Yemenite, are all heard in songs devoted to love and tolerance. Idan Raichel is the keyboardist, songwriter and producer behind the scenes, and he’s clearly as familiar with Peter Gabriel as with Middle Eastern traditions. His arrangements bind the voices together in somber minor-mode anthems paced by electronic beats, earnestly seeking to uplift.
Billboard Magazine Review:

ALBUM: THE IDAN RAICHEL PROJECT
This disc is surely one of the most fascinating titles to emerge in world music this year. Israeli keyboardist/composer Idan Raichel, who has become quite an item among
